WorkationBase brings this information together in one place — with traceable sources, transparent data dates, and no sugarcoating. The goal: you make better decisions faster, and don't regret your workation before you've even checked in.

Behind WorkationBase.
WorkationBase is built by Phil. My first workation was turned down at first: the legal side was too complicated for the company. A year later I made it happen as an internal pilot project: Gran Canaria, working as usual, just with evenings by the sea. What started as two permitted weeks per year has grown to up to four months at the same company.
Since then, I've planned a workation every year, two to four weeks, across different providers and formats — and every time, the research was the most exhausting part: where's it warm in winter? Where does the internet actually hold up? And why are the answers stuck behind paywalls? WorkationBase is the tool I wished I'd had. Not a VC-funded startup with a growth team, but a small, opinionated product for people who are just as tired of boring affiliate listicles as I am.
